Holcim Green Holcim Green SL
Holcim Green Holcim Green SL
Holcim Green is an eco-friendly concrete produced with washed cooper slag (WCS), which is a by-product from ship repairing industry. Instead of letting it as it is and be a pollutant, we process it and make it as a substitute of sand for both structural and non-structural concrete. Holcim Green SL is produced with Ground Granulated Blastfurnace Slag (GGBS), a by-product blastfurnace steel industry. The usage of GGBS also make the concrete to have denser structure compared to normal common concrete.

Holcim Supercrete HS

Holcim Supercrete is a high strength concrete with significantly higher strength than traditional concrete up to 60MPa or above. High strength concrete significantly reduces the structural component size with lesser use of concrete amount in its application, hence increases the availability of space and economic value in high rise building.

Holcim Green FA

Holcim Green FA is a green concrete produced with another eco-friendly product named fly ash (FA), replacing the use of cement. The use of fly ash in concrete reduces the amount of non-durable calcium hydroxide (lime) and converts it in the process into calcium silicate hydrate (CSH), which is the strongest and most durable portion of the paste in concrete. Fly ash also makes substantial contributions to workability and chemical resistance.

Mechanically, fly ash pays dividends for concrete production because fly ash particles are small, they effectively fill voids. Fly ash particles are hard and round, they have a "ball bearing" effect that allows concrete to be produced using less water. Both characteristics contribute to enhanced concrete workability and durability.
