About us

The company was founded in 1964 under the name National Grain Elevator and subsequently was changed to National Cement in 1994. It was the key supplier of quality cements to Eastern Concrete, the second company in Singapore the Group invested in, which was a respected seller of ready-mix concrete at that point of time. In 2004, the two companies were combined as Holcim Singapore.

Further expansion followed in 2007 with the acquisition of a majority share of Jurong Cement. In 2010 Holcim Singapore was amalgamated with JCL Building Materials, a subsidiary of Jurong Cement and continue as one company Holcim (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

Holcim Singapore now has grown as one the leader in ready-mix concrete and drymix mortar supplies. Our drymix mortar production capacity is 150,000 mt per year and we are producing 1.3 million m3 ready-mixed concrete annually, supported by 9 batching plants across the island and a fleet of 150 mixer trucks.
